The Weeknd's “Blinding Lights” has been named the song of the 21st century. Billboard crowned this hit the No. 1 song of the 21st century on its list of the best songs of the century—and based on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
The aforesaid list is based on data from January 1, 2000, to December 28, 2024.
"Blinding Lights" spent a record 57 weeks in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100, from February 2020 to April 2021, including four weeks at No. 1.
